Yuletide Hearts

Well, I just out and out love a great Christmas story, and Yuletide Hearts is all that and more...

We take our former bad boy-turned-marine-now-housing-contractor and plunk this brave soldier into the middle of the national housing crisis.

Just looking at Eddie Matos as Matt Cavanaugh, you know this guy's got what it takes to get the job done, but with the closing delayed and bad weather looming, Matt doesn't have a whole lot of time to get this bankrupt subdivision battened down for the harsh winter. And when he has to hire the very family that lost the subdivision, guilt hits him. But it's Christmas in Allegany County, and there's a little boy who loves Christmas. Seeing a simple Christmas through a child's eyes, Matt realizes that there just might be a happily ever after for former bad boys. That God's gentle hand and healing love always manages to come at just the right time.

Of course, if you send a strong, tough guy like Matt a heroine who can match him at every turn, then you've got a great recipe for romance!

I loved doing my first Christmas book for Love Inspired. Holy Twinkle Lights, it was wonderful from beginning to end....

Twinkle lights....

Shadow Jesus....

A roughed up little church in need of tender loving care...

A group of old soldiers, faithful and patriotic to the end...

A woman, cast off.

A boy with no father.

And a man who forgot how to dream.

All lovely elements for a beautiful and touching Christmas story. Tissues are not required, but highly recommended!
